Liam Holt, his friends James Robinson, Adam Monk, Tom Stones and Alister Holgate decided they wanted to raise money for The GEM Appeal in memory of a young man called
who died of Hunter Syndrome.
To do this they undertook the gruelling Lake District Ultra Challenge on 6 and 7 June and it meant them challenging themselves to do a 100km looped route through the Lake District.
We are pleased to say that they have all completed the challenge unscathed and have recovered well and in the process they raised over £3.2K in sponsorship for us.
Everybody at the GEM Appeal passes on their congratulations and heartfelt thanks!
Cheers Lads!!!!
